The idea of poetry or prose is that it places focus on the very words that are written on paper or typed on a screen and the last thing I want is to have invent or utilise some pointless picture that could potentially affect the overall presentation and delivery of my work.
What's the matter little Fella?? Does my writing not look pretty enough for you?? Would you like me to present and shape it like a pretty flower everytime I write it so it's just that much easier for you to look at?? Or maybe it is that

Unwritten PoemCrafting the very shape of my presence in dimly-lit domain, while the trials of nature blistering the air outside remains, as the restraint to interaction of all factions. It's sad really.Unwritten Poem
The smell of stock and fire fills my lungs, as the music spins unaware of its cloning on the machine's tongue yet still the trials burn and freeze and proceed onwards.
Pictures of black hearts, nuclear missiles and fading stars surround my influence but I keep my feet firmly on the ground. How resilient! My focus will always be on my humming plane powered by the taps.

We were so naïve, made of chalk drawings of suns and cubes in the drive, paisley jumpers or jeans with holes and mud under fingernails.
To think, a stick was just a stick and not a sword or a metaphor between us. And our multiplying freckles were only signs of age, not beauty or relics of kisses left by angels and mothers and you.
We left the only magic in the rows of planted pines miles between our houses, not the circles of mushrooms or the tree-rain that lingered every day after four.

The wind whistled through the rotten, moss covered trees of the forest. The black sky covered the luminous moon. No stars could be seen tonight.
Below on the ground a silhouette stirred. Whispers sang in unison. A wolf growled making the remaining crows flutter away.
